OUR STORY

My husband Dave and I started Colette's Play Sets in 2020 when we experienced the magic of sensory play firsthand. 

When she was 3, our daughter Colette was diagnosed with anxiety, social-emotional disorder and Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD). Through Occupational Therapy, we learned about the power of sensory play, so we started making homemade sensory bins for her based on her interests. We noticed a shift in her behavior and her ability to regulate her emotions, thoughts, behaviors and body movement, giving her the ability to learn.

That’s when we realized that every human alive has sensory needs and could benefit from this form of play, and thus, Colette's Play Sets was born.
